MORGAN HEALTHCARE AUDITS CO-CHAIRS TOM KNOX FUNDRAISER
HARRISBURG, PA — David and Dottie Morgan of Morgan Healthcare Audits co-chaired a fundraiser for Tom Knox on April 25, 2007 in Philadelphia, PA
“This event was a privilege to co-chair. People need to realize that Tom has a history of fighting to recover over-payments in the Pharma industry. These savings have been used to reduce premiums, increase benefits and manage wellness programs.” said David Morgan, President of Morgan Healthcare Audits.
Morgan adds, “Tom Knox understands the healthcare industry and will be able to achieve the same goals for Philadelphia as he has in the private sector. It is all about fiscal responsibility and accountability, something that other politicians just don’t seem to understand.”
Knox contacted Morgan Healthcare Audits about five years ago to audit a PBM that he felt was not operating in the best interest of his clients. Significant waste and abuse was identified and Knox took it upon himself to correct the situation.
Growing up in the Kensington and Alleghany section of Philadelphia, Dottie Morgan, vice president of Information Technology, follows Philadelphia politics with a passion.
“We have the utmost respect for Tom. He will do right by Philadelphia. It is just his nature,” concludes Dottie.
