For over 10 years, MHA has performed audits of retail, mail order and long term care pharmacies with significant savings for our Clients. Pharmacy audits are performed as desk audits or on-site audits. Desk audits will target individual prescriptions that are questionable and compares hard copies to electronic data. On-site audits verify that the pharmacy has legitimately received, entered, dispensed and given the patient the correct medication according to the prescription order.
